All decked out.

We have a deck, and although it's tiny, it's our outside place. Logan has a little teeny pool that fits 2 almost-one-year-olds perfectly! Our neighbor is Logan's same age, and they like to swim together. Logan is DEFINITELY a water baby. He loves to splash and slide and get water poured all over him. Oh yes, he also likes to play with his foam letters in the pool. He can stick them all over the sliding glass door.


I also planted a potted deck-garden with:
peas (they were doing SO well but were tragically murdered by my fern falling on top of them)
peppers
basil
tomatoes
lettuce
carrots
ice box watermelon
squash
and a fern.

Logan no longer touches the pots of plants-due to some unrelenting hand-slapping discipline that WORKED!, so I bought this nifty "deck guard." Now he can crawl to his heart's content without sticking any appendages through the deck rails. Toys can't fall down either, we LOVE it!
